Gao Yang turned professional in 2020 after winning the WSF Junior Open at just 15 years of age, earning recognition as one of China’s brightest young prospects. His first spell on the professional tour proved challenging, with the Covid-19 pandemic disrupting his early development. After securing the WSF Open title in 2025 to regain his tour card, Gao returned to the professional circuit determined to fulfil the potential that made him one of the sport’s most highly rated young talents.
