Profile

Si Jiahui announced himself on the professional stage at just 17 years old, reaching the last 16 of the 2019 English Open after defeating defending champion Stuart Bingham in his debut season. Although he briefly dropped off the professional tour in 2021, he earned his way back a year later and enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at the 2023 World Championship. On his Crucible debut, he became the first player in 28 years to reach the semi-finals on their first appearance, narrowly missing out on the final after Luca Brecel completed a remarkable comeback from 14–5 down to win 17–15. Si continued his rise in 2024 by reaching his first ranking final at the German Masters, before finishing runner-up again at the Wuhan Open. During that event, he also produced his first official maximum 147 break in his semi-final victory over Judd Trump.
